The survey records depths of 18 to 27.7 meters off the projected berth line. The design operating draft is set at 20 meters — sustained by the natural seabed, with no initial or maintenance dredging. That saving translates directly into a lower tariff and lower construction risk.

A 6,000 t/h shiploader loads a 180,000 t Capesize vessel in 30 hours of effective operation. Including berthing and unberthing maneuvers, the full cycle per ship is estimated at 36 hours.
